About Dylan

The owner answers the phone

I started Louisville Christmas Light Pros to take the hassle out of decorating for the holidays. From design to install to takedown, we handle the entire process, so you get to enjoy the season instead of working through it. I wanted the same reliability I already build into my other company, brought to holiday lighting here in Louisville.

In the warm months Dylan runs C&S Pressure Washing, one of Louisville's top-rated exterior cleaning companies. Same crew. Same standards. Different season. He trained in person with ChristmasLights.io before hanging his first customer's roofline.

Residential

Christmas light installation in Louisville, KY

There is a moment every December when a car slows down in front of a house. The driver points. A kid in the back seat stares out the window. That moment is what we hang in Louisville every Christmas. The bulbs are how we do it.

Store-bought light strands are built to last one season, maybe two, before a section goes dark. The lights we install are commercial-grade: heavier wire, sealed sockets, and bulbs built for a Kentucky winter. That is the difference between a display that looks the same in week one and week six, and one that starts going dark by Thanksgiving.

Every Louisville Christmas Light Pros install starts with a real design, not a guess. Dylan measures your roofline in person and cuts each strand to fit your peaks, dormers, and gutter lines exactly. No sagging clips, no gaps at the corners, no strand stretched too far to reach the next outlet.

Cost depends on the size of your home and how much of it you want lit. We work in three ranges, and most Louisville homes land around $1,300:

  • $800–$1,150: a clean, custom-cut roofline. The classic look.
  • $1,150–$1,800: full roofline plus wreaths, garland, or lit bushes. Where most homes land.
  • $1,800 and up: the whole property. Roofline, wrapped trees, and lit landscaping.

We never quote by the linear foot. You get one real number for your actual home, approved before anything goes up. That price already includes the lights, the install, free mid-season fixes if anything goes dark, January takedown, and off-season storage.

The design visit takes about fifteen minutes. Dylan walks your property, talks through what you want lit, and gives you a price on the spot or the same day. Once you approve it, we schedule your install date. Most homes are done in a single visit, and we set the timer for you so the lights come on and off exactly when you want.

Book by mid-October for first pick of dates. Our calendar fills by mid-November every year, and install slots go to whoever calls first. Wait until November and you are choosing from whatever dates are left, not the one you want.

Commercial

Commercial Christmas lighting in Louisville

A dark storefront in December tells shoppers you are closed for the season. A lit one tells them you are worth stopping for. Commercial Christmas lighting from Louisville Christmas Light Pros covers storefronts, offices, restaurants, and HOA entrances across the East End, and every job is quoted and designed around your property, not a generic package pulled off a shelf.

Business displays need to be lit before the holiday shopping season starts, which means commercial installs claim our earliest dates. We offer early-bird installs before Halloween for businesses and HOAs that need to be lit and ready before Thanksgiving weekend, when retail traffic picks up for the season.

  • Storefronts and restaurants: rooflines, entries, and window frames lit for foot traffic.
  • Offices and property managers: professional displays, one contract for design through storage.
  • HOAs and communities: entrances and common areas, with multi-year scheduling available.
  • Medical and retail centers: bright, clean displays that read as professional, not decorative clutter.

Every commercial job starts with a property walk, not a phone estimate. Dylan measures the roofline, the entries, and any trees or landscaping you want included, then builds a design around your budget. We work around your business hours so install day does not interrupt customers or staff.

Every commercial contract includes the same guarantee as a residential install: commercial-grade lights, free mid-season fixes, and January takedown with off-season storage. Fully insured crew on every job, and a certificate of insurance is available on request for property managers and HOA boards that need one on file.

Send us your property and we will walk it, design it, and get you a real number fast.

Takedown & Storage

Takedown, storage, and next year

The best part of a Louisville Christmas Light Pros install is January. We come back, take everything down, and store it at our facility until next season. It is not an upsell tacked onto your quote. It is built into the price from day one, the same as the lights themselves.

Nobody wants to be on a roof in January. Ice on the shingles, wind on the ladder, cold hands fumbling with clips. That is exactly why takedown is ours to handle, not yours. Your only job is to enjoy the season and let it come down on its own schedule.

  • Takedown happens in January, weather permitting.
  • Every strand is labeled, coiled, and stored at our facility, not left in your garage.
  • Returning customers get the same display reinstalled on their date next season.
  • Rebooking locks in last year's price plus priority scheduling ahead of new customers.
  • Commercial properties get the same January takedown and storage as residential customers.

Because we store your exact display, next year's install goes faster too. We already know your roofline, your bulb count, and how you like it lit. Rebooking is a phone call, not a redesign. Want to add a section or change something up? Say the word and Dylan builds it into next year's plan.

Have lights of your own that need to come down? Call us and we will talk it through. Where our calendar allows, we help.

I value responsive service and great work. Dylan at C&S delivered both! We love our Christmas lights and we're so impressed by him and his team, we've already booked a power washing for the spring. Highly recommended him!

Dylan is both professional and down to earth friendly in a day and age where those qualities are hard to find. He is timely and efficient and every job he has done is done well. I have used his power washing services at both my residence as well as business. And his Christmas Lights made my families holiday. I look forward to using him again this year.

If you're tired of getting the run around with half done work or not getting a call back I would definitely recommend this company.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Booking & Timing

When should I book my Christmas light installation?

Book by mid-October. Our calendar fills by mid-November every year, and dates go to whoever books first. The earlier you call, the earlier your lights go up.

How fast will I hear from Dylan?

Same day, usually much sooner. Call the number at the top and you get Dylan, not a call center.

Pricing

How much does Christmas light installation cost in Louisville?

Most homes land around $1,300. We work in three simple ranges: $800 to $1,150 for a roofline, $1,150 to $1,800 for a full display with wreaths or bushes, and $1,800 and up for the whole property. You approve your exact price before anything goes up.

I used you last year. Do I get a discount?

You get the same price as last year, plus priority scheduling ahead of new customers. Returning customers keep their spot on the calendar.

What's Included

What's included in the price?

The lights, the design, the install, mid-season fixes if anything goes dark, January takedown, and off-season storage. One price, nothing added later.

Can I use lights I already own?

No. Every display uses our commercial-grade lights, so we can guarantee the fix if anything goes out. We cannot guarantee lights we did not supply, and store-bought strands are the most common reason a display goes dark mid-season. The full honest answer is here: Why we don't install customer-owned lights.

Takedown & Storage

When do you take the lights down?

January. We schedule takedown once the season winds down and get it done, weather permitting.

Where do my lights go after the season?

We take them down, label them, and store them at our facility until next year. Nothing sits in your garage or attic.
